Complete the creator onboarding checklist
The onboarding checklist tracks the steps between creating your channel and publishing it. It updates automatically as you complete each one.
What the checklist covers
| Step | Required | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Add a profile picture | Yes | Upload a profile photo. A photo is mandatory at sign-up, so this step is usually already complete. |
| Verify your email | Yes | Open the verification email VAST sends when you register. |
| Make your first post | Yes | Publish a real image, video, audio, link, or livestream post inside a chapter. |
| Publish your channel | Yes | Make your channel visible to everyone. |
| Share your channel | No | Copy your channel invite link and share it. |
How the checklist updates
The checklist updates automatically as each step completes. You do not mark items yourself.
What the checklist unlocks
The four required steps must all be complete before your channel can be published or shared externally. Until your email is verified, required publication steps stay blocked.
Sharing your channel link is the only optional step. Leaving it undone does not block anything else.
