VAST terms and definitions
These are the words VAST uses across the product and this Help Center. If an article and the interface ever disagree, tell Support which screen you were on.

| Creator | A user who owns a channel and publishes or monetizes content | Publisher, host |
| Channel | A creator's public home on VAST | Profile page, creator dashboard |
| Main Square | The creator-curated featured area at the top of a channel | Hero carousel, banner |
| Chapter | A creator's collection of posts | Playlist, folder |
| Post | A published piece of content | Upload, item |
| BTS | Behind-the-scenes video or audio attached to a parent post | Bonus post |
| Tier | A recurring subscription option with defined access and benefits | Plan, package |
| Paid post | A post available through a tier and/or eligible one-time purchase | Paywall post |
| Follow for Free | The free relationship between a member and a creator | Free subscription |
| One Click Link | A per-post call-to-action link to an external destination | Link post |
| Vast Blast | VAST's automatically generated visual distribution unit for approved publisher placements | Ad, campaign, banner |
| Publisher | An external media partner that displays an approved Vast Blast | Advertiser, creator |
