Create and submit a Vast Blast

VAST generates the Blast units automatically. You configure the campaign and preview the result; you do not manually construct the ad layout.

Create a Blast request

1. Open Vast Blast from your side menu.
2. Start with the visual preview.
3. Choose the schedule, budget, publisher selection, and CTA.
4. Review available advanced controls.
5. Preview the channel, chapters, featured posts, and One Click Link.
6. Submit the request for review.

Understand the Blast preview

• The middle of the preview shows the photos selected from your Main Square.
• Chapters appear on the left and right sides of the preview.
• Select a chapter to replace the middle content with posts from that chapter.
• Review the Main Square photos and chapter posts before submitting the request.

Advanced controls

Where available, advanced controls can reorder eligible posts without changing the underlying content model. Copy is hidden by default and revealed through an intentional interaction so media remains the primary experience.

Review and approval

Submitting a request sends it for internal review. A member of the VAST team then emails the approved Blast to the selected publication. The team's email is the handoff to the publication.

Important limitations

• Blast creation is supported on desktop and the native app.
• Blast creation is not supported on mobile web.
• One Click Link is a separate CTA and should not obscure the media.
• Approval is not guaranteed; publisher and brand-safety requirements apply.
